This kit eliminates the extreme hassle of bleeding a coolant system in RZR XP1000 and XP Turbo(s) engines. TPR's EZ bleed system allows you to bleed the coolant system in minutes and conveniently in a very accessible area. The factory bleeder sits right on top of the exhaust manifold and is a mess to get to while your engine is hot and running. Once this kit is installed it will continuously bleed the coolant system and eliminate air pockets on its own.

The number 1 cause of blown headgaskets is from overheating and trapping air pockets in the cylinder head.

Polaris resolved this issue when they designed the self-bleeding Pro XP cylinder head, now also seen on Turbo R and Pro S models.

 Kit Includes -

  • Bleeder line w/ heat shielding
  • 6mm banjo bolt w/ copper washers
  • TPR valve cover bolt & grommet
  • Zip tie
  • Radiator hose insert w/ hose clamps

 When Installing -

Remove the stock bleeder screw and install your new bleeder line and banjo bolt with the 2 copper washers, then run the line over top of valve cover as seen in pictures. Zip tie bleeder line to the newly installed TPR valve cover bolt.

(Passenger side of engine) From the thermostat housing, you will need to measure 4 1/2" down the black radiator return hose and then cut it there. This where your billet aluminum hose insert will go. PVC pipe cutters are a good alternative for cutting the hose.

 Recommended Bleeding Steps -

The bleeder can be opened with the supplied key or a flat head screwdriver. After installing you simply fill coolant bottle, then open bleeder till coolant streams out. Top coolant off again, start engine and re-open bleeder. Rev engine up to around 2500 rpm and wait till you a have solid stream of coolant coming out then close bleeder. After thermostat opens you can bleed one more time.

If overheated on the trail you simply top off coolant, open bleeder and perform the same process in minutes.

Fits -

  • XP1000
  • XP Turbo
  • XP Turbo-S

Preparing your Engine or Transmission for Shipping.

Preparing your Engine for Shipping.

Once you have pulled your engine out of your machine its time to get it ready to ship to us.

  1. Remove as much as you are comfortable with.  Remove all hoses, oil cooler, and oil filter. If you have a turbo engine remove the turbo and header.
  2. We need you to ship the side cover that covers the stator assembly. We will need that to make sure it matches the rest of your engine when we soda blast and paint it. We understand not everyone has the abilities to pull the flywheel and stator assemblies. Not a problem. You can leave all that on. But if you pull it, pull the stator out of the side cover and ship us the cover.
  3. We will provide you with all the gaskets and seals you need to re-assemble everything.
  4. We ask you try to get as much oil out of the engine as you can.
  5. Once that's all complete please double wrap your engine with at least 2 trash bags to help keep any left over oil in the bags as possible. No matter how much oil you get out there's always more.
  6. Locate a good heavy duty box or tote that allows enough room for protective packing materials around all 6 sides.
  7. Package up your engine making sure it's safe and secure.
  8. Apply the pre-paid shipping label provided from us to the top and drop it off at your local shipping location.
